Position Details:

• Position: Legal Operations Processor
• Industry: Banking/Financial Services
• Job duration: 6 months (Possible Extension)
• Location: Sioux Falls, SD 57104 (Onsite)
• Shift: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 5 PM)
• Pay Range: $19 - 20/hour on W2

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support various operational tasks relating to subpoenas, levies, and other legal documents representing.
• Processing cases and also placing some outbound calls and taking some inbound calls.
• Seek ways to improve customer service experience and determine the proper course of action based on customer needs.
• Perform moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support tasks.
• Negotiate with external customers to assure resolutions and deadlines are met.
• Provide training to less experienced Operational Legal Specialists.
• Receive direction from supervisor and escalate non-routine questions.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Interact with internal customers.
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong writing skills- the ability to write clearly and concisely and construct sentences that provide clear information.
• Ability to read and comprehend state laws/statutes and determine if the situation meets the state's requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and switch priorities from production work to phones.
• Professional phone skills when making inbound calls and receiving outbound calls from state agencies.
• Strong computer navigation skills.
