Private non-profit substance use treatment program is seeking LCDC to provide clinical treatment to assigned consumers. Duties include: Provide treatment to consumers including assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning, individual and family therapy, supportive counseling, recovery program and relapse prevention support, life skills training and case management. Work collaboratively with other clinical staff in ongoing case review and improvement of treatment service.
Licensed in Texas as a LCDC; Knowledge of mental illness and chemical dependency; Knowledge of dual diagnosis ; no experience in mental health and/or chemical dependency treatment; Ability to relate with respect to persons from diverse , socio-cultural, life-style, and educational backgrounds; Ability to work well with a team; ability to maintain clear professional, ethical boundaries between self and clients.
