Lifting Supervisor
Job SummaryThe Lifting Supervisor is responsible in ensuring safe, efficient lifting and handling operations on in accordance withCompany standards and local and international regulations/requirements. This role is also responsible in carrying outCrane Lifts on site, supervising all Crane Lifts, completing out daily paper work and checklists, ensuring all lifts are inaccordance with the site lift plans and all other associated duties as and when required.Job Responsibilities 1 Plan, coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in the project.Ensure all the lifting gears are valid and in operational condition.Conduct pre-task talks to brief all lifting team members (i.e., crane operators, riggers and signalmen) on the Lifting Plan,risk control measures and safe lifting procedure before the commencement of any lifting operation.Ensure all the lift/rigger follows and practice policies as set in the Lifting Operators Manual.Prepare the Lifting Plan and also ensure the validity of Permit-To-Work (PTW) prior to start of lifting operation.Ensure that the operators of mobile cranes and all related lifting equipment's conduct pre-operation check usingCompany prescribed checklist.Check the weight of loads and radius to ensure proper understanding is acquired prior to lifting operation.Conduct area inspection prior to lifting operation, setup of barricade area as well as setup of at lifting area to ensuresafety.Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the Lifting Plan.Ensure suitable measures to rectify the conditions if any unsafe conditions are reported, for safe and continuousoperation.Conduct the practice on-job training of all the lift standard and fill out practical training reports.Performs minor maintenance tasks.Ensure all rigging tackles used for lifting are in good condition and color coded as per Monthly color code.Monitor our equipment’s in the site and coordinate our client of any complain and initiate immediate action.Job Responsibilities 2Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of lifting operations to ensure safe operation.Relevant experience in lifting operations.In-depth expertise in structural discipline and knowledge of the related disciplines.Deeper understanding of load charts, different types of jibs, lifting clamps and load angles/liftingangles.Understanding of different types of lifting clamps and their safe usagesJob ExperienceMinimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plusCompetenciesCollaborationAccountabilityResilienceQualityLeadershipLEEA Certified L2AUTOCAD L2Heavy Lifting Risk Assessment L2Technical documentation L2Hydraulic Power System Maintenance L2EducationCollege Level in any related fieldCertificate in any Related Technical Certificates
