Limited Term Appointment in Building and Civil Engineering

Position descriptionThe Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for one faculty position at the rank of Lecturer in the areas of Building and Civil Engineering. This is a posting for a 12-month Limited Term appointment. Limited-term Faculty members at Concordia are full-time faculty members whose primary duties include teaching and service, with no research obligations. Qualifications and assetsCandidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or in an engineering discipline closely related to the Built Environment and should hold a Ph.D. degree in Civil or Building Engineering. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required. Industrial experience will be a definite asset. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in diverse areas.Candidates are encouraged to share any career interruptions or personal circumstances that may have had an impact on their career goals in their letter of application.
