Limited Term Appointment in Computer Engineering

Position descriptionThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a 12-month Limited Term Appointment (LTA) faculty position at the rank of Lecturer in Computer Engineering. The primary responsibility of an LTA is course delivery; however, they may be asked to supervise students’ project work, and contribute to department and program administration.Limited-term Faculty members at Concordia are full-time faculty members whose primary duties include teaching and service, with no research obligations. Qualifications and assetsCandidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering or in a related discipline. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching a broad range of courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the Department. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required. Industrial experience will be a definite asset.Candidates are encouraged to share any career interruptions or personal circumstances that may have had an impact on their career goals in their letter of application. Concordia University is an English-language institution of higher learning at which the primary language of instruction and research is English.
