Linux Infrastructure Specialist

Location: Stevenage/Bristol/Bolton (Hybrid)

Salary: Circa £55K + Generous bonus

We are seeking a passionate Linux Infrastructure Specialist to join our multi- Information Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the stability, security & performance of Linux-based systems while driving continuous improvements in infrastructure.

As an SME, you will manage and evolve our Linux, VMWare, and storage environments, ensuring high compliance and performance standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to critical infrastructure decisions, and work in a values-driven company that embraces innovation and .

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux (RedHat) environments.

• Automate system deployment and configuration using Bash, Python, and Ansible.

• Manage VMWare and NetApp storage solutions.

• Support and improve containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes - advantageous).

• Implement monitoring and logging tools to maintain high service continuity.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
  
  

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong Linux (RedHat) expertise, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation (Ansible).

• Experience with VMWare and enterprise storage (NetApp).
