Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

In order to effectively facilitate the supply chain operations in UK market, Midea UK, part of Midea Group, a Fortune Global 500 company are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to coordinate with excellent practise and processes to achieve the effective distribution.

Position: Logistics Specialist
Direct Report: Supply Chain & Service Manager

Responsibilities include:
1. Establish and maintain maximum and minimum inventory levels
Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers
2. Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks
3. Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels
4. Approve time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-ups
5. Administer and maintain inventory control program systems
6. Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
7. Manage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing and scheduling planning

Requirements for the role:
1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
3. 1+ years previous experience in logistics management or coordination
4. Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software preferred
5. Great interpersonal skills
6. Excellent communication and time management skills
7. Well-developed motivational and team work skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
