Logistics Coordinator

Drake International London is actively recruiting a Logistics Coordinator for our client a distribution warehouse specializing in appliances for large retailers.  This is position is an evaluation hire and permanent position will be considered after completing 480 hours of work.  What we Offer: $22.00-$22.50 an hour. Permanent placement after completion of hours and benefits start day one of hire.  Room to grown and work with an excellent motivated team to meet goals and objectives. Weekly pays. Afternoon hours 1:00pm-9:00pm.  What you do:  Coordinating and dispatching freight. Assisting drivers with routing or delivery challenges and communicating changes. Co-ordinate and participate in all scheduled physical inventories. Investigate inventory discrepancies.Assist with customer escalations.Conduct internal inventory audits. Supporting operations management to implement programs. Generating and maintaining reports and other documents. Trace orders and notify appropriate contact.  Act as a liaison between the service providers, customer service, warehouse in administration. Who you Are: Completion of secondary school is a requirement or college or equivalent business administration experience is preferred.2 Years Logistics experience.Good computer skills and scanning skills. Must work day-to-day with little or no supervision.Excellent communication skills.Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional analysis and reporting skills required.   Since 1951, Drake International has been a global leader in flexible and permanent staffing, connecting people with the right roles at any career stage, both in Canada and worldwide.
