As a Logistics Coordinator, you will take charge of the critical task of planning and managing the daily delivery, pickup, and servicing of our portable sanitation equipment. This role requires a sharp, analytical mind to solve logistical puzzles and adapt quickly to changing situations. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth communication between our drivers and customers while upholding the highest standards of service.
In this dynamic position, you’ll anticipate challenges, tackle them head-on, and ensure that no detail is overlooked. Your ability to think on your feet, stay organized, and maintain clear communication will make you a key player in our team’s success.
Job Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support, addressing their requests, and advocating for their needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolving issues and providing accurate ETAs.
- Monitor driver progress throughout the day, reallocating work as needed to ensure efficiency.
- Collaborate with multiple operational departments to identify and address potential service or routing challenges.
Route Administration:
- Efficiently manage daily work orders by optimizing routes, re-sequencing stops, and updating geocodes.
- Review delivery instructions to anticipate and resolve site-specific challenges.
- Plan and optimize equipment loads based on truck/trailer combinations and water capacity requirements.
- Create detailed load sheets for yard personnel to facilitate smooth deliveries.
- Coordinate with fellow dispatchers to manage logistics for large-scale events.
- Maintain accurate inventory control during peak seasons.
- Handle after-hours and weekend tasks, including customer calls, driver support, and addressing staffing needs.

- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with local cities and streets is a bonus.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
