LOGISTICS COORDINATOR –
Manage the supply chain ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods from the Regional Distribution Center to the Gulf and Central Region stores.
· Shipping Coordination:
· Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate pickups and deliveries.
· Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents.
· Review purchase orders and shipment contents.
· Track shipments and resolve any issues promptly.
· Inventory Management:
· Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels.
· Manage inventory in the warehouse or distribution center.
· Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock.
· Customer Service:
· Respond to store inquiries regarding orders and deliveries.
· Provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues.
· Logistics Operations:
· Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency.
· Manage distribution and shipment budgets.
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
· Communication and Collaboration:
· Communicate with various stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
· Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation.
· Other Duties:
· May be responsible for managing warehouse equipment and raw material orders.
· May be involved in negotiating contracts with suppliers and carriers.
· May be responsible for ensuring that shipping methods comply with rules, regulations, and laws.
