Logistics & Inventory Coordinator
The Offer Work alongside & learn from best in class talent top global brands Join a market leader within FMCG Opportunity within a company with a solid track record of performance The Job Key Responsibilities: Container Inbound Planning and Coordination: Coordinate container inbound planning with 3PL and freight forwarders. Align inbound priorities with our planning and schedule accordingly with 3PLs and freight forwarders, acting as the first point of contact. Ensure incoming containers are received in the 3PL and booked into inventory as per the agreed SLA. Inform internal customer service and planning departments about planned inbound schedules. Investigate shortage and over-deliveries. Keep records, analyze, and report on actual transit times between origin and destination. Inventory Management: Manage stock levels of all products (finished goods/consumables). Reconcile inventory between our client and the 3PL on a weekly/monthly basis. Conduct scheduled meetings with the 3PL on inventory positions and resolve discrepancies. Report inventory accuracy and differences to the line manager. Regularly report and analyze stock levels. Coordinate stock transfers to and from other European subsidiaries. Review pallet stock holding to ensure consolidated pallets and minimal pallet counts. Value Added Services (VAS) Coordination: Coordinate VAS and rework projects at our 3PLs (such as labelling, packaging, and assembly). Provide clear instructions and ensure VAS activities are completed accurately and on schedule. Collaborate with internal teams to meet specific customer requirements. Ensure the availability of consumables to support VAS and rework projects. Logistics Administrative Support: Analyze and handle transport and warehouse claims registered by our customers or internal customer service. Review and analyze 3PL invoices. Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, and other related paperwork (customs clearance procedures for import/export). Assist with the coordination of transportation and delivery schedules. Continuously seek ways to improve logistics processes. Perform various ad-hoc tasks, projects, reports, and other operational/administrative duties as needed. The Profile Required Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience with 3PL/4PL warehousing. Knowledge of import, inventory management, and logistics (including administration). Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience with international freight and customs clearance (import and export). Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365). Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain management practices. Advanced Excel skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-starter and team player with self-confidence, assertiveness, and personal motivation. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Problem solver with analytical thinking. Confident in challenging and investigating issues.
