Unspecified Raytheon offers an innovative and inclusive culture; welcoming diversity and collaboration and providing numerous opportunities for career growth.Raytheon, Polska Operations and Supply Chain team (OSC) is conducting a search for a Logistics Specialist to join the team in support of Raytheon Polska programs.As a member of the supply chain team, you will report to the Operations and Supply Chain Lead to support tasking related to the Poland programs. This role is program facing, interacting with the Poland Field Service team as well as liaising with the local Polish suppliers, Customs authorities, etc. This role will provide opportunity for learning and future career development through the supply chain team. This is a 1 year assignment.The Logistics Specialist works in a dynamic and challenging environment, bringing innovative solutions to support the program team with on time execution. This position will be based in Poland.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Instilling a culture of strategic thinking, planning, procurement and material management excellence within the program supply chain team,Analytical thinking with ability to make fast and good decisions;Support customs operations and customs documents;Planning transport process from supplier to supplier and supplier to customer site;Organize and coordinate domestic and international transport for heavy cargo commodities;Organize, support and on-site supervision for cargo shipments and relevant documents,Cooperation with international freight forwarders and brokers,Excellent communication skills as process coordination requires wide team collaboration;Cooperation with Integrated Product Team on timely manner;Support & monitor critical infrastructure sustainment shipments; these can be time sensitive cases with work under pressure,Creating a vision around supply chain requirements and process initiatives, driving improvements for material flow and accountabilitySupporting development of material strategies and overseeing the preparation and execution of Material Program Plans (MPPs)Cooperation with the team to ensure compliance with Military Concession and WSK (ICP)Identifying and mitigating program risks as they pertain to transportation and logistics requirements through integrated root cause/corrective actionRequired Skills:Master’s degree or Postgraduate studies in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain/ Logistic and/or additional professional certifications or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related experienceExperience with government regulationsAbility to speak, write and communicate In English & Polish.Experience with Logistics system(s)Experience with supporting NATO material shipmentsExperience with Manufacturing environmentExperience in Export/Import Compliance requirements for international business partners and suppliersWhether you’re just starting out on your career journey or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package that goes above and beyond with compensation; healthcare, wellness benefits; career development and recognition programs.
