Logistics Specialist (Retail)

Managing and optimizing logistics operations to ensure efficient movement of goods and timely delivery Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure on-time and cost-effective shipments Overseeing inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations Developing and implementing strategies to improve warehouse operations, including space utilization and workflow efficiency Handling documentation and tracking for shipments, including purchase orders, shipping confirmations, and delivery schedules Analyzing transportation and logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational performance Collaborating with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment Managing the return process and reverse logistics for damaged or returned goods Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies Coordinating logistics for both domestic and international shipments Monitoring and reducing risks related to transportation delays, damage, or loss Regularly reporting on logistics performance metrics, including delivery times, shipping costs, and inventory turnover Identifying new logistics technologies and trends to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsible for consolidation report and any other logistics related communication to global head-quarter in Japan Array Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field At least 4-5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced industry Strong knowledge of logistics software, inventory management systems, and transportation management tools Familiarity with customs regulations, international shipping, and freight management Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with external partners and internal teams Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Knowledge of best practices in warehouse management and inventory control High proficiency in Microsoft Office Upper-intermediate level of English (achieve a high score in Proficient English Test like TOEIC, TOEFL, etc) Our client is one of the leading global retail companies in the world.
