An international logistics company is seeking a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate would have 10+ years of Sales in the Logistics Industry.

  • Direct Hire (Full time) with excellent benefit package
  • Salary: $90K-$120K/yr (Exempt) plus commission
  • Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid work: currently working 3 times a week in the office, twice a week work from home.

 

Requirements of the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10+ years of Sales experience in the logistics industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Works well under pressure and stress
  • Goal oriented and team player with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy and performance level
  • Must be able to travel when needed
  • Able to work proactively, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills, and Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
  • Valid Driver's License required

 

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager / Business Development Manager:

Responsible for establishing relationships with new customers and securing contracts with new customers. Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets. Develop and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services and operations offered by the company. Interact regularly operations managers and develop close and cooperative working relationships with operational staff to ensure the customer’s needs are met.

  • Seek and prospect ground opportunities.
  • Establish relationships, build trust and rapport.
  • Work with C-Suite to establish customer needs.
  • Work internally to devise solutions for the potential customer.
  • Prospect new business with sales team, seeking to meet the strategic growth ambitions defined by the company.
  • Grow and retain existing business, while pursuing new customers.
  • Present new opportunities and request the appropriate stakeholder collaboration to validate customer approach.
  • Collaborate with teams on Request for Quotation (RFQ), pricing, and handover preparations.

 

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am ~ 5:00pm
