NextGen Protection Companies, Inc. is currently hiring for the position of Low Voltage Tech to join our growing team.

NextGen specializes in fire alarm/fire sprinkler installation, service, and inspections as well as other low-voltage services including security alarms, camera systems and access control.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team serving clients throughout Arizona. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections for low voltage systems, including fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, access control, data networking, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in low voltage systems installation and service.
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, security systems, and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of local and electrical codes (NEC).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, BICSI) are but not required.

Additional Information

• Installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to service calls, diagnosing issues, and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and services performed.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
