Dynamic Control Systems is a fast-growing low voltage systems provider specializing in Fire Alarm, Security, and Communication solutions. We are a locally owned and operated business seeking motivated candidates who are looking to find a career in the low voltage industry. We are looking for a qualified and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a full-time Alarm Technician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of how to install and maintain Fire, Security, Access Control, and Surveillance alarm systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and repair security and fire alarm systems.
• Consult with clients on system requirements; provide system recommendations and cost estimates.
• Use blueprints or building plans to determine proper systems to install based on building layout and setting.
• Run wiring and circuits, install hardware, and attach electrical wires.
• Inspect and test systems, batteries, and electrical wiring; make adjustments and repairs as required.
• Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary
• Ensure systems comply with electrical and fire codes.
• Explain and demonstrate system function and operation to end users.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of security and fire alarm systems and installation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read installation and system manuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in alarm system installation or a related field.
• Basic certification in alarm or electrical systems.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
