Position: Lube Technician - Commercial Division
Job Overview:
The Lube Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and lubrication of company equipment and machinery in the field. This role is essential in preventing breakdowns, extending equipment life, and ensuring operational efficiency across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Regularly inspect and lubricate machinery, mini excavators, skid steer and our truck fleet at jobsite locations.
- Fluid Checks and Replacement: Check oil, hydraulic fluids, and coolant levels; replace as necessary following company protocols.
- Basic Repairs: Identify minor issues and make adjustments or repairs when possible; escalate more complex issues to the maintenance team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of lubrication schedules, completed services, and any noted equipment issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment by reporting hazards and ensuring equipment is safely maintained.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years in equipment maintenance or a similar role (specific experience with heavy construction equipment is a plus).
- Skills: Knowledge of lubrication techniques, familiarity with standard tools and safety protocols.
- Certifications: Any relevant certifications are a plus, though on-the-job training can be provided.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Preventative Maintenance Compliance: Adherence to lubrication schedules.
- Equipment Uptime: Reduction in downtime due to lubrication-related issues.
- Documentation Accuracy: Up-to-date and precise record-keeping.
