
Luxury Commercial Manager
Description :PURPOSE OF THE ROLEBuild our reserve brands in close partnership with strategic customers through an approach of inclusive growthAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY1Provides thought leadership for channel/ accounts and customer investments.Influencing A&P and trade spends.Delivers NSV & operating profit for the luxury universe in the region.Developing and executing customer marketing plans in service of the brands and as per aligned annual MBP + CBP plans for the region2Developing a winning customer offer which drives value for the customer and USL and builds relationships,Engage with customers and develop customized category driving solutions thus driving value3Plan and execute brand building activities and create bespoke brand programs for customers.Ensure each account is activated as per the contract commitments.Align the activity calendar with the customers, clusters and the Key Account Manager.Capture the imagination of customers and consumers with stories of our brands.4Achieve plan for the agreed outlet universe, with consistent tracking and evaluation.Implement a clear measurement and evaluation process that identifies the effectiveness of activities and areas of focus and development.Maximize ROI and maintain compliance to agreed trading terms5Leading the training agenda for the luxury customer universe for the region through Diageo World Class and Diageo Bar Academy.6Ensure the team is aligned for execution of the planned activation calendar.Tracks the monthly performance of each account and plans course correction with the KAM’s, Clusters & Customers.Holds quarterly business review of accounts.7Coordinate with design agency and brand team to develop bespoke creative and menu’s.Work with agencies to execute timely promotions and activations.POS placement in outlets, managing visibility in offtrade and ontrade and has to work in partnership with key accounts team and cluster teams on all aspects of the accountsEnsuring drive cycle achievement and overall TTL budget managementProcess adherence as per TTL policyTYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTSQualification:MBA in Marketing / Post Graduate in HospitalityExperience:• 4-8 years experience in Marketing• Must have experience working with luxury consumer goods organizationKnowledge & skills:• Understand the Commercial Opportunity• Develop Accounts Strategy &Plan Execution• Manage Performance• Measurement and EvaluationBest suited for someone who• Is commercially very savvy• Likes to coach people• Likes to negotiate and crack deals• Has ability to identify new opportunities• Likes to build & maintain relationships• Can be demanding in getting customers to keep their commitments• Likes to understand what drives a preference for luxury brandsDiversity statementCelebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
