Machine Design Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace

Job DescriptionJob Description

A successful Design Engineer II will take a hands-on approach, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in design processes while ensuring adherence to customer, industry, and applicable technical specifications.

• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC Machining, Non-Destructive Testing (Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, Dye Penetrant) and Mechanical Testing (Tensile, Hardness, Grain Size)
• Knowledge of design principles for various manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining and 3D printing
• Experience working in an ISO/AS9100 facility - aerospace background is a must have.
