SUMMARY:
The Machine Shop Quality Inspector – CMM Programmer programs CMM and supports Quality Assurance with inspection of parts with metrology equipment. Reports to the Quality Manager.

SCHEDULE:
Days: 5am-3:30pm
Swing: 3pm-1:30am
WHAT YOU WILL DO
-
Programs Hexagon CMM and Romer Arm with PCDemis software and associated inspection

Creates part setup plans for CMM
-
Provides feedback to machine shop and engineering for adjustments as required

Performs measurement inspection of parts, including AS9102 First Article Inspection

Documents nonconformances as they are discovered

Assists Quality Assurance with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Communicates effectively with inspectors, machinists, and engineering teams
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Required Education: High School diploma
- Proficiency with GD&T
- 3+ years programming Hexagon CMM and PCDemis software
- Working experience in AS9100 or equivalent quality system
- Epicor ERP experience highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must be a U.S.
