QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in building and grounds maintenance.
- Experience working with maintenance/cleaning supplies.
- Ability to operate small and large maintenance equipment.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Experience in word processing and messaging systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in various units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Maintain current valid drivers license.
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and install equipment and machinery.
- Ability to perform minor repairs.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
- Ability to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Ability to work varied hours. Sometimes need to work before and/or after the regular work schedule.
- Ability to work while on ladders.
- Familiar with OSHA safety and health regulations.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
- Complete tasks/duties as assigned by the Trustee, Deputy Trustee, and the Maintenance Director.
- Clean and maintain/repair WTTO building, fixtures, grounds, and equipment.
- Attend department meetings/training sessions as directed.
- Setup and breakdown rooms (or other areas) for meetings and special events.
- Assist with the storage and distribution of food and other special items (such as Farm Wagon and Emporium).
- Ensure client and WTTO confidentiality is maintained.
- Assist in Workfare, and with Workfare workers.
