We are urgently hiring for a PERMANENT role to be based in QATAR.
Our Chemical client based in Qatar is looking to hire a "Maintenance Controller (Turnarounds)".
Position: - Maintenance Controller (Turnarounds)
The Maintenance TA-Controller is responsible for coordinating the development and updating of maintenance and turnaround schedules, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and accurate, comprehensive and timely tracking of the progress. They support the preparation and monitoring of the maintenance budget, ensuring financial accountability and control.
Minimum Qualifications:
- School Graduation Qualification.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering would be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support with a focus on scheduling, reporting, planning at an oil & gas or petrochemical company.
Required Skills:
- Coordinate the development of maintenance schedules based on work plans developed by Maintenance Planners and circulate them to Production, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Facilitate ad-hoc updates of maintenance schedules by coordinating with Maintenance Planning Engineers, ensuring the efficiency of the rescheduling process.
- Support the development of maintenance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, emergency shutdowns) in coordination with Maintenance Supervisors, ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination.
- Maintain and update the Turnaround working spreadsheet consolidating with approved work orders, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain and update Expense Shopping Cart list coordinating with Planning Engineers, Procurement and Materials divisions.
- Coordinate the development of turnaround / shutdown schedules in collaboration with Turnaround Planning Engineers and Production department.
- Update the Turnaround schedule daily during execution based on the input from the Turnaround Planning Engineers, ensuring real-time tracking of progress.
- Gather the input from Maintenance divisions for the preparation of the Maintenance budget based and facilitate its development, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Monitor and track turnaround financial performance (actual vs. budget) and provide reports to the Head of Turnaround on a monthly basis, ensuring financial accountability.
- Coordinate with the Finance department on the monitoring of Maintenance expenses against the budget, ensuring financial control.
