Location: Boca Raton, Florida

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Overview

A well-established community association in Boca Raton is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep and functionality of a 5-acre beachfront property, including pools, common areas, and residential facilities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, or other skilled trades to ensure the community remains in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations, including landscaping, pool care, and facility upkeep.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs across the property.
• Manage and schedule maintenance staff and third-party contractors for repairs and renovations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
• Work closely with community management and to ensure satisfaction with maintenance services.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in maintenance management, facilities supervision, or a skilled trade such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and contractors effectively.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety procedures, and property maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed.
