£50K (Double Days)



Experienced Maintenance Electrician required to support the day to day operations of a heavy production plant in Ilkeston; carrying out planned maintenance tasks and responding to plant breakdowns. Working in an industrial and dusty environment. High-intensity work as the plant is designed around a continuous process which therefore means any stoppages become a high pressure situation.



DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



PPM and breakdown maintenance on automatic machinery and plant; conveyors, shredders, separating equipment, dryers and large hydraulic presses.



Working with company CMMS system.



Inspection and testing



Fault diagnostics and repair



Plant upgrades



ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:



Experience of conveyors and associated drives



Screening and separation equipment



Pumps and motors



Relay and plc control systems



Inverter fault finding and installation



KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, TASKS AND OBJECTIVES:



Qualified to BTEC, C&G or higher (lower qualifications may be accepted if demonstrated through experience).



Knowledge of Safety Integrity levels.



Working knowledge of heavy plant including conveyors & hydraulic presses



Electrical Training with a working knowledge of the current Regulations



Good mechanical aptitude (supporting fitters as required).



SHIFTS: rotating double days; alternate mornings (5:30-14:00) and afternoons (13:30-22:00)
