Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Electricianconducts major repairs to production and support equipment, fire protection systems and building management systems, and manages outside contractors used to support building operations.
Compensation: Non-exempt hourly pay based on experience. OT and Performance Bonus Eligible.
Travel: None
Location: Suwanee, GA – KineticoPro Headquarters. M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs electrical troubleshooting in production equipment for power and control systems; as well as perform small changes to improve the machines performance, quality or safety; modifies existing electrical facilities circuits as required. Facility utilizes Low Voltage (220V & 440V - primarily DC)
- Troubleshoots equipment issues by observing devices in operation, interacting with operator and utilization of testing devices.
- Performs major repairs on a variety of electrical facility equipment. May program PLC and troubleshoot problems.
- Manages outside contractors that are utilized to support facility repairs or upgrades.
- Sources or fabricates replacement components or fixtures required to enhance operations.
- Manages the building management systems and fire protections systems, pumps and alarm panels.
- Installs new machinery and equipment and moves machinery and equipment to affect layout changes as required.
- Performs preventative maintenance activities on building systems and production equipment.
- Assists Manufacturing Engineer in other specialized areas as required.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe and clean work area.

Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Electrician qualification certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with electrical equipment & repairs.
Competencies:
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the Electrical Code.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC programming and diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills required, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Physical Effort and Work Environment;
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and reaching.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and maneuvering up to 100 pounds with a dolly.
- Frequently exposed to oil and noise.
- Exposure to heat or cold due to seasonal changes
