Maintenance Electrician - Southampton

Job Description

Our client is a nationwide giant in the construction and facilities management industry. Founded in 1996, our client has expanded and gained several blue-chip contracts due to their reputation. Due to continued success on these already existing contracts, they are looking to recruit for an Electrician in the Southampton area, working on a major blue-chip retail contract on a mobile basis.

 \n\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working within retails contracts carrying out a broad range of electrical duties including installs, PPM and reactive maintenance duties and the following: \n\n·       Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks\n\n·       Undertake Electrical installation works\n\n·       Ensure all work is carried out safely, and to the highest standard\n\n·       Maintain accurate records of all works undertaken\n\n·       Member of an on-call rota\n\n·       You must have a passion for customer service\n\n·       Be presentable, courteous, and helpful always\n\n·       Must be flexible as some out of hours work may be required\n\n·       Must be able to manage workload and prioritise work\n\nThe ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of previous experience in a facilities management role. \n\n·       Industry recognised Electrical Installation or Maintenance qualification obtained to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent as a minimum required\n\n·       JIB Gold Card\n\n·       Electrical Installation experience desirable\n\n·       BS7671 18th Edition desirable\n\n·       C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing desirable\n\n·       Full clean driving licence required\n\n·       ECS / CSCS Card desirable\n\n·       IPAF & PASMA desirable\n\n·       HVAC experience desirable\n\nIn return, my client is looking to offer a competitive salary up to £40K (with overtime) plus the following benefits: \n\nExcellent progression, training, and development opportunities \nCompany vehicle \nFuel card \n25 days holiday \nContributory pension scheme \nTablet/Phone supplied \nOvertime available \n& much more \n\nFor more information contact Ed on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) to prompt a call back
