Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.About this opportunity This role will be a shift work and will undertake hands-on repair, maintenance & project work, ensure production machinery is well maintained, reliable and running at best productivity levels in consultation with the Engineering Manager.Furthermore this role will assist the Production Team with day-to-day process optimisation and operational oversight.Your key responsibilities will be to:Carry out hands-on maintenance, repair & plant operational tasks.Support others with production or quality issuesMake machine adjustments or repairs as necessaryAttend to breakdowns and arrange repairs in a timely manner.Liaise daily with Production Team leaderArrange & oversee contractor services.Liaise with other engineering team members for sharing of resources & mutual support as required.Assist with plant start-up & shutdown processesOperate plant as back-up in absence of Plant SupervisorAssist with all aspects of plant and process optimisation.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:Relevant engineering experience & trade qualificationsUnderstanding of complex plant systemsAbility to undertake direct mechanical work.Experienced trouble-shooter/solution finderAbility to plan, prioritise & manage in a team situation.Able to effectively supervise and direct others when requiredGood written and verbal communication skills (incl. basic MSOffice skills)
