Maintenance Engineer

In this new Maintenance Engineer role you would be joining a senior maintenance engineer and working with highly skilled engineers, experienced production technicians, and a talented R&D team. You will be working on a range of specialist manufacturing equipment including lathes and winding machines. This is a clean room facility with a fair amount of walking up and down stairs as part of the role. The Role: Carrying out equipment upgrades and maintenance on high-value capital equipment. Analysing and addressing equipment breakdowns. Driving continuous improvement for enhanced reliability and scalability. Developing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborating with equipment suppliers for the commissioning of new equipment. Implementing the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme. Providing crucial support to engineers in product and project development. Collaboration with R&D, engineering, and production teams. Experience Required: We are seeking a maintenance/equipment engineer or experienced production technician with hands-on experience. You will have proven experience working on or repairing high-value manufacturing equipment. Specific experience with lathes and winding machines would be advantageous. Problem-solving enthusiasts with practical experience and a related degree are preferred. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, experience with ISO 9001 standards, and familiarity with lean manufacturing environments would be desirable.
