Role: Maintenance Engineer



Shift: Three Shift, Monday to Friday (Earlies, Lates and Nights)



Salary: £45,000 - £50,000



Location: Shefford

The Business:



A International Manufacturing business with over 40 years of expertise in the UK and with operations in over 40 countries worldwide is currently looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to their site in Shefford. The company has a focus and ethos on manufacturing environmentally friendly products and are a key partner to local governments in the UK and internationally.



The company has recently started putting investment into the site both on upgrading machinery and on training opportunities for Engineers. The Engineers have opportunities to go on Electrical training courses, robotics training courses and automation training too while working on a variety of kit, some of which is highly automated!



The Role:



The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:



Reactive and Planned Maintenance on the Automated Production Machinery on site

Working on Electrical parts such as Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors, Three Phase Motors

Working on Projects aimed at improving the efficiency of machinery with the ability to come up with your own project ideas and lead these from cradle to grave

Mechanical Fault Finding on Bearings, Rollers, Gearboxes, Shafts, Pneumatic Systems, Belts,

Working within a team of Maintenance Engineers that work together, share their knowledge and get on well with each other

Taking on Board any additional training required by the business, this could include robotics, electrical or automation training – as your skills develop more with the business they will look at reviewing your salary

The Candidate:



The Right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have:



Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a Factory Setting (Very Open with Industry)

Experience Maintaining Machinery

Experience with Electrical systems, particularly with Three Phase systems

Happy working within a positive team that works together

Happy to get stuck into Maintenance, be pro-active and look for areas of improvement
