A leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. An experienced Maintenance professional, candidates will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on a range of complex machinery and you will also be involved in the installation of new equipment as the company invests in the facility.\n\nCommutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Cannock, Telford, West Bromwich \n\nSalary: £ 38,000 - £ 45,000 + benefits \n\nSuitable for: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Multiskilled Engineer, Maintenance Technician \n\nThe Role\n\nProvide preventative maintenance, installation, overhaul and repair of equipment.\nWork with management to develop a total preventative maintenance schedule.\nAssist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.\nDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make modifications.\nWork with the Engineering Manager to identify areas for improvement.\nIdentify continuous improvement actions to machinery and reduce production down time.\nUpdate and maintain internal database to record any fault issues and reordering of parts and products within the engineering department.\nRecord all breakdowns with faults, parts used, actions and times.\n\nThe Person\n\nElectrical biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.\nPrioritising of workload to ensure minimum production ‘downtime’\nUp to date knowledge of electrical regulations\nAbility to read drawings and manuals to aid repair and service\nDemonstrated ability to use root cause analysis/problem solving process.\nWorked in a complex manufacturing environment, some exposure to CNC machinery is advantageous.\nYou will have strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision including planning of own workload.\n\nFor more information, please send a CV to James Colley
