Maintenance Engineer
Job Description Job Summary: The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical components of CNC machines, Composite facility (Oven, Autoclave, Filament Winding Machine) and SPM Etc., This role involves ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of CNC equipment to meet production requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. - Develop and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. - Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs. - Maintain and calibrate manufacturing instrumentation devices. - Work with quality control teams to maintain high standards. - Calibrate CNC machines for precision. - Maintain records of maintenance activities and modifications. - Generate reports on machine performance and costs. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. - Provide technical support and guidance to technicians. - Develop emergency response plans for equipment failures. - Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in machine maintenance, with expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. - Knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus. - Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and CNC control systems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
