Maintenance Engineer
Location: Gwynedd
Position: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: c£46k
Shifts: 4 on 4 off Rotating days and nights
Key responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities across the factory.
* Provision and implementation of solutions in line with the site engineering strategy to reduce downtime.
* Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance.
* Continual commitment to a PPM culture
* Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on a range of specialist and high-tech equipment
* Compliance with all health and safety, Food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
* Highlighting opportunities for improvements in the maintenance plan and/or failure of components
Qualifications & Experience
* You will be qualified to NVQ / City or Guilds or equivalent standard.
* This is a hands-on engineering role.
* Experience within FMCG manufacturing.
* Although this isn’t essential, it’s beneficial if you have an IEE 18th Edition.
* Beneficial if you’ve worked on conveyor systems, mixer, depositor, ovens etc.
* A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop as there is considerable opportunity for development within the engineering function.
