Job Advertisement: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Northamptonshire, UK Salary: £41,400 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Days), with on-call duties Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Northamptonshire, supporting our food manufacturing facility. This role involves carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), attending breakdowns, and maintaining a wide range of machinery to ensure efficient production. Key Responsibilities: * PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Perform routine PPMs and attend to mechanical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime. * Machinery Maintenance: Maintain and repair food manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reduce downtime. * Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of machinery performance and reliability. * Call-Out Support: Be available for on-call duties to respond to urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours. * Health & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
