£50,000 Per Annum
Liverpool
Nights Only 19:30pm - 06:00am (Week 1 Mon - Thurs / Week 2 Tues - Fri)
gap technical are proud to be representing this fantastic manufacturing company in their search for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work at their facility based in Liverpool.

You will be key a member of the Engineering Department whose main responsibility will be to Service and Maintain all on site machinery being reactive to breakdowns and using Planned Maintenance Systems

  • Fully understanding manufacturing processes

  • Resolving problems in an efficient manner

  • Applying health and safety practices at all times

  • Communicating and presenting data effectively

  • Understanding engineering and other technical information
  • \n

  • Using planned preventative maintenance systems
  • \n

  • Use mechanical/electrical drawings
  • \n

  • Design and implement cost-reductive changes
  • \n

  • Follow all food hygiene and Product quality control measures
  • \n

  • Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
  • \n

  • Follow the shift pattern as detailed in the engineering plan
  • \n

  • Other reasonable tasks as agreed with the engineering manager
  • \n

Person Specification

\n

    \n
  • Proven success as an Electrical or Multi-skilled Engineer
  • \n

  • Familiarity with Siemens (s7) Allen Bradley PLC's programming and fault finding
  • \n

  • Experience of Belt conveyor systems. vibratory conveyor systems (Podmore), Multivac Tray sealers and Thermoformers, Sandiacre (Hayssen) bagging equipment, Metal detection & Checkweigher systems, palletisers.
  • \n

  • Experience of refrigeration equipment, boiler operation and control and Fanuc robotics
  • \n

  • Past experience of working in a food production environment
  • \n

  • Positive attitude, be able to deal with challenge and change in a fast paced environment
  • \n

  • Leadership, planning and prioritisation skills
  • \n

  • Good attention to detail
  • \n
