We are looking for a maintenance engineer to join our client's team, in Oldbury who are a house-hold name and an industry leader. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of £32,000 - £34,000. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment. To be successful in this role, the skills are:



Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and electronics quickly.

Electrical and mechanical aptitude and the skill to disassemble and reassemble complex devices as well as good general maintenance knowledge.

Knowledge of electronics, machinery control systems and PLC fault finding.

Industrial Sewing machine repair and service.

1ph & 3ph Motor knowledge, conveyorization systems, belts etc.

Welding, soldering and fabrication skills.

Good understanding of bearings, motion systems and their maintenance.

17th / 18th Edition BS7671 qualification.
