Position: Site Maintenance Engineer\n\nLocation: Birmingham\n\nDuration: 2 years\n\nHours: Approx 10hrs/day Mon-Fri, 5hrs/day Sat\n\nPAYE Pay rates:\n\n1st 40 Hours Mon-Fri: £23.00/hour including £2.47/hr Holiday Pay\n\nOver 40 Hours Mon-Fri & all Hours Sat: £29.00/hr including £3.12/hr Holiday Pay\n\nLodge Allowance: £60.00/day\n\nThe Role:\n\nOur client is currently recruiting for Site Maintenance for a long term projects on an HS2 site in Birmingham. The work will involve planned preventative maintenance and repairs to welding machinery and equipment, lifting platforms and general plant.\n\nDuties will include:\n\n-Execute work and test schedules so that production stoppages are avoided to the extent possible\n\n-Set up equipment, undertake tests, take readings, record and interpret data\n\n-Check completed installation for safety and controls or undertake the initial running of the new equipment or systems, either electrical, electronic, mechanical or hydraulic.\n\n-Corrective maintenance: diagnoses and detects faults and implements procedures to maintain efficient operation of systems and equipment in the factory.\n\n-Preventive maintenance: periodically inspects systems and machinery with the goal of noticing small problems and fixing them before major ones develop.\n\n-Predictive maintenance: evaluates the condition of equipment by performing periodic or continuous equipment condition monitoring, before the equipment loses performance within a threshold.\n\n-Reports to the line manager any misuse of the machinery and installations.\n\nRequirements:\n\nCSCS card\n\nNVQ 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification\n\nMechanical and electrical maintenance background on welding machinery and equipment\n\nAbout Us:\n\nIntegrate Engineering Resources Ltd provides a dedicated recruitment service to the Engineering Construction & Maintenance sectors.
