We are looking for an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies providing an impressive range of products into retailers and the foodservice sector\n\n OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS\n\nDay shift\nCompetitive Salary - £56,000THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER\n\nHigh quality engineering support to enable continuous running of plant and equipment.\nRapid response to breakdowns.\nEffective fault diagnosis to ensure first time fixes.\nCarry out the maintenance of office, control, and factory equipment etc, conveyors belt, ceiling machine, filling machine, depositors, metal detectors, steam cookers and mixers.\nIdentifying improvement areas within line engineering processes and recommending/implementing solutions.\nCarrying out autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly and recording work competed accurately in the correct documentation.\nInspections of equipment at predetermined intervals to ensure there is no risk to product from contamination by foreign bodies arising from equipment damage.\nWork on flow wrappers, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other manufacturing machinery.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE \n\nWill need to have experience in the food manufacturing sector as an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer and also have the following attributes:\n\nBe a fully qualified with 18th Edition;\nExperience in package/food/FMCG manufacturing business\nProven experience as an electrician\nExperience in industrial electrical systems and electrical drawings\nDemonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and electrical drawings\nExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability\nPerform routine testing of electrical systems and equipment, repairing and replacing, as necessary\nWorking knowledge of Food and Hygiene policyIf this Maintenance Engineer job is of interest and you would like to investigate further, apply TODAY!\n\n"Kandhu Recruitment will consider all applications based on each candidate's suitability to the role or similar roles within the Food Sector and if we feel you are a relevant candidate we will process your application by adding you to our secure recruitment database and then contacting you to progress job opportunities further.
