Job Overview:\nWe are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Technician with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and experience in PLC/HMI Controls to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Siemens PLC and HMI systems, with a focus on airside operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical systems while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical machinery\n\n * Ensure all equipment is operating to specification, following company procedures and safety protocols.\n\n * Work with Siemens PLC/HMI systems for system diagnostics, programming, and updates.\n\n * Carry out fault diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical and control systems, ensuring minimal downtime.\n\n * Adhere to airside safety and security protocols and complete all necessary paperwork.\n\n * Respond to urgent repair needs, ensuring timely resolution to maintain operational efficiency.\n\n * Support the continuous improvement of systems and equipment.\n\n * Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and equipment performance.\n\nRequired Qualifications and Experience:\n\n * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).\n\n * Proven experience working with PLC and HMI controls, Siemens systems .\n\n * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.\n\n * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\n * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\n * Airside vetting to CTC level (Counter Terrorist Check) is required.\n\n * Must be able to work the shift pattern as per the operational requirements.\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\n * Experience with Siemens PLC programming and HMI systems.\n\n * Prior experience working in an airport or similar regulated environment
