Our client are a leading manufacturer of high-tech products used in a wide range of industries, as part of their continued growth they are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Salary: £40,500 - £47,250
\n
Hours: 4 on 4 off continental shift (2 days, 2 nights)
\n
Location: Towcester

Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment, minimising downtime and process interruption.
- Assist in exhaust filter and system changes, as well as gas cylinder replacements.
- Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) - training provided.
- Manage chemicals, gases, and spare parts, including deliveries, waste management, and chemical fills.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of processing and ancillary equipment.
- Support Engineers with project work and take ownership of projects when qualified.
- Carry out a variety of duties independently following documented procedures.
- Assist with logistical tasks, such as equipment relocation and cleanroom reorganisation.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across all areas.

Requirements & Competencies:
\n
- \n
- Previous experience in Maintenance or Engineering roles, preferably in a high-tech / high precision industry.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, gas, vacuum, electro-mechanical, and automation systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety.
- Willingness to work overtime during shutdowns/major maintenance.
- Good communication skills - fluency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
