Location: Caldicot, South Wales

Shifts: 4 on, 4 off - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am



Strategic Location: Easily commutable from Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow, Avonmouth, Bristol & surrounding areas

The Opportunity:



Play a critical role in maintaining and optimising high-speed production lines across a fully automated plant.

Collaborate with an experienced engineering team focused on fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and operational excellence.

Be a key contributor to plant performance, driving reliability, safety and uptime.What You'll Be Doing:



Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Troubleshooting faults on high-speed production and packaging equipment.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Reporting into senior engineers and contributing to cross-functional projects.What We're Looking For:



Time-served Maintenance Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / C&G / Apprenticeship).

Proven background in FMCG, Utilities, Heavy Industry, Ex Forces, or similar.

Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding experience.

Familiarity with PLCs and automated equipment is highly advantageous.

Shift-based work: 4 on / 4 off (2 days & 2 nights).
