We are delighted to be exclusively working with a renowned food production company, committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers.\n\nWe are currently recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with to join their team on the night shift.\n\nThis role offers a great opportunity to contribute to the company's growth while enjoying competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n* Perform regular maintenance and inspections of machinery and equipment in our food production facility, focusing on electrical systems.\n* Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize production downtime and ensure seamless operations.\n* Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks to reduce the risk of equipment failures and maintain optimal performance.\n* Collaborate with the production team to improve machinery efficiency, productivity, and overall quality control.\n* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment performance, repairs, and spare parts inventory.\n* Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in maintenance engineering within the FMCG food production sector.\n\nRequirements:\n\n* Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems, preferably in an FMCG food production environment.\n* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, PLCs, and automation systems.\n* Proficient in diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions efficiently and effectively.\n* Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.\n* Understanding of mechanical systems and experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.\n* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.\n* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions and reports.\n\nQualifications:\n\n* A relevant technical qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, HND, HNC, or equivalent) in electrical engineering or a related field and experience in a similar role.\n* Additional certifications in areas such as PLC programming or electrical safety regulations are advantageous.\n\nBenefits:\n\n* Competitive salary package.\n* Comprehensive benefits package.\n* Opportunities for career growth and development within a dynamic and expanding food production company.\n* Access to modern tools, technologies, and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.\n* A supportive work environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and employee well-being.\n\nPlease note, this role will be working on a permanent night-shift from Monday to Thursday.\n\nTo apply, please submit your updated CV outlining your experience and qualifications.
