Midway Ford is on the hunt for an experienced Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team.  The Maintenance Technician’s responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Respond to service calls
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues
• Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
• Manage air conditioning and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
• Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
• Ability to determine when issues need to be escalated

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role is required
• Experience in HVAC and building maintenance is 
• General knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Well- organized with ability to prioritize tasks
• Able to lift 50 pounds
