Step into Australia’s most iconic National Park and join one of Australia's most unique hotels.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maintenance Handyperson to join our Maintenance team. We are seeking an individual who possesses knowledge and understanding of hotel maintenance and/or comes from a handyperson/tradesperson background and is willing to learn about hotel maintenance. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, you would be jointly responsible for general repair and maintenance and assisting with projects within the hotel.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will;Possess the ability to work solo and as part of a teamHave experience as a handyperson or tradespersonHave the ability to multitask and work quickly but efficiently to meet deadlinesBe self-motivated and possess strong time management skillsBe reliable, punctual and honest with great communication skillsHave strong attention to detailBe physically fit and willing to work in humid conditionsTasks/DutiesUndertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the Hotel. This includes basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning service and repairs.Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.Ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order.Performing duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required.Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.Additional InformationIdeally we would like the successful applicant to begin as soon as possible and be willing to commit long term.-Single accommodation provided at a subsidised rate -This is a full-time role-Duty meals provided when on shift
