As a Maintenance Hotworks – Leading Hand, you will: perform boilermaker welder duties and supervise mechanical team in a manner that protects safety, health, and the environment, whilst conforming to quality and time requirements, always ensure good housekeeping habits and to maintain a safe worksite for yourself and fellow workers, ensure that assigned tasks are within capabilities and qualifications, and report progress accurately. Fully qualified / indentured Boilermaker, Structural Steel Fabricator and/or Welder, Demonstrates a minimum of one year industry (oil and gas) experience, Department of Labour Certificate 4 (Piping Alloy Steel), 3E (All position Plate – down hand, vertical and overhead) and 7 (Mig – continuous wire feed), Qualified in the proficient use of the Semi-Automatic Welding Processes (. Fronius/Lincoln STT) in the 6G positions, Has successfully completed a Supervisory Training course. Specific Skills Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a particular context, Professional demeanour, interpersonal skills, Able to demonstrate team working skills, Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn, Flexible with a can-do attitude.
