- Provide technical leadership, and guidance supporting a large team

- Oversee the work of engineers and technicians

- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards

- Work with vendors and contractors to cover all engineering and maintenance requirements

- Develop the professional skills of their team

- Manage budgets effectively and to target

- Manage stakeholders



Maintenance Lead Technician skill requirements:- Extensive knowledge and background in automation engineering and maintenance

- Experience in leading large multi-skilled engineering teams

- Experience in stakeholder management and budget control

- Experience in people leadership and development

- Assist in ensuring that all relevant health and safety policies and guidelines are adhered to by maintenance teams whilst under their leadership



Maintenance Lead Technician essential requirements:

- You must hold an engineering qualification

- Hold a full UK driving license

- Have an electrical qualification to HCN level or equivalent

- Willing to complete an ILM coaching course once in the role
