Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring maximum uptime and seamless operations across the facility. Leading a talented team of 6 Maintenance Engineers working on a 3-shift rotation and 2 Apprentices, you’ll focus on delivering world-class maintenance practices that support the business’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
Maintenance Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and reactive maintenance schedules.
* Work closely with operations to ensure minimal disruption and maximum equipment efficiency.
* Mentor and develop team members, particularly apprentices, ensuring a pipeline of skilled talent for the future.
* Drive a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact production.
About You:
* Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
* A multi-skilled engineering background, with expertise in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
* Automotive industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
* A track record of driving efficiency and performance within a maintenance team.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
