The Views of Burlington are proactively seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team at a long-term care facility in Burlington, IA.
A maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a facility's maintenance operations, including planning, scheduling, and executing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing maintenance costs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Some job duties include:

Developing and implementing maintenance strategies:
Create and manage a comprehensive maintenance plan, including preventative maintenance schedules, minimize equipment breakdowns and optimize asset lifespan.

Budget management:
Monitor maintenance costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.

Troubleshooting and repair coordination:
Respond to equipment malfunctions, diagnose issues, and coordinate necessary repairs with technicians or outside contractors.

Safety compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations and company safety standards.

Communication and collaboration:
Effectively communicate maintenance updates to relevant stakeholders including operations teams, facility management, and senior leadership.
