Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, systems, and infrastructure are properly maintained, safe, and functioning efficiently. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate repair and maintenance schedules, and manage budgets while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
• Develop and implement facility maintenance programs to ensure the upkeep and functionality of all buildings and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, and compliance gaps
• Develop, Implement and sustain a PM program for all equipment and appropriate facilities infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
• Develop and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment and facilities are running smoothly
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues
• Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Using maintenance history and maintenance causation information, develop a maintenance prevention plan and training requirement plan.
• Implement a life cycle management plan on all capital/operational/facilities equipment.
• Leveraging historical maintenance data, operators/owners manuals, scope and cost out a recommended parts bin to ensure uninterrupted operations in all functional areas.
• Review all maintenance items and present recommendation on what should be company-maintained items and which should use outsourced maintenance.
• Develop a requirements list to support in-house maintenance program.
• Gain and sustain industry knowledge to proactively recommend future state equipment to support the companies strategic and business plans.
• Monitor and track facility-related expenses and budgeting for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
• Collaborate with other departments, including HR, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment on facility and maintenance initiatives
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management and facility compliance
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and vendor management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in facility management or safety is a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs. on occasion.
•Ability to sit at the computer for extended periods of time.
