Maintenance Manager

As a hands-on Maintenance Manager, you will oversee plant maintenance with a primary focus on improving machine efficiency and reducing costs. You will manage one Maintenance Technician, while collaborating closely with teams across quality, purchasing, production, and safety. Your role will be 80% plant floor-based, performing hands-on work with machinery, including wrench-turning and running Continuous Improvement (CI) events.

In addition to machinery maintenance, you will spend 30% of your time managing facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building repairs, either personally or through the Maintenance Technician and outside contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform hands-on machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage facilities maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on maintenance and production goals.
• Ensure plant equipment and facilities are running smoothly and efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with boilers and general facility maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead CI initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
