Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance and repair function. As a vertically integrated food production business, this is a critical role to ensure maximum up time on equipment availability and facility upkeep. If you are a hands-on experienced maintenance technician that thrives in smaller company entrepreneurial environments, we can’t wait to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance function.
- Provide hands-on maintenance and servicing of thermoforming packaging machines, with a primary focus on Multivac.
- Ability to perform minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and air compressor systems as needed.
- Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for all machines to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Serve as the primary liaison with facility service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
- Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, implementing best practices in equipment maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and facility operations.
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of maintenance and repair experience in a food manufacturing facility.
- Proven experience servicing Multivac thermoforming packaging machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing maintenance teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations for manufacturing facilities.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with service providers and internal teams.
