Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance and repair function. As a vertically integrated food production business, this is a critical role to ensure maximum up time on equipment availability and facility upkeep. If you are a hands-on experienced maintenance technician that thrives in smaller company entrepreneurial environments, we can’t wait to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance function.
• Provide hands-on maintenance and servicing of thermoforming packaging machines, with a primary focus on Multivac.
• Ability to perform minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and air compressor systems as needed.  
• Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for all machines to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Serve as the primary liaison with facility service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
• Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, implementing best practices in equipment maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and facility operations.

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of maintenance and repair experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Proven experience servicing Multivac thermoforming packaging machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing maintenance teams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations for manufacturing facilities.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with service providers and internal teams.
